TONKA BEANS

Origin: Venezuela

THE “PIAROA” TRIBE IS KNOWN FOR ITS SUSTAINABLE TRADITION OF HARVESTING AGRICULTURE.

OUR TONKA IS COLLECTED FROM SAVAGE SARRAPIALES, SOUTH OF THE ORINOCO RIVER, IN THE CAURA AREA. THEY ARE WORLDWIDE FAMOUS FOR THE SPECIAL AROMA THAT THEY DISMISS AND HIGH COUMARIN CONTENT.

BY NOT COLLECTING OUR TONKA OF PLANTATIONS THAT NEEDED DEFOREST TO BE CARRIED OUT, WE DO NOT DO ANY KIND OF DAMAGE TO THE LARGEST JUNGLE ECOSYSTEM IN THE WORLD SUCH AS THE AMAZON . WE NOT ONLY BELIEVE IN SUSTAINABILITY BUT WE BASED OUR BUSINESS CULTURE ON THAT.

IN ADDITION WE PROMOTE POSITIVE SOCIAL CHANGES SUCH AS THE INCLUSION OF WOMEN, SPORTS AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE, AND WE SUPPORT COMMUNITY EDUCATORS THAT HAVE PARTNERED WITH US.
